To our Customers and Partners,

At Cisco, we strongly and unequivocally condemn the unjustified war being waged by Russia, and the violence that has been unleashed upon innocent civilians.

Given the escalation of war, and in support of the Ukrainian government and people there, Cisco is stopping all business operations, including sales and services, in Russia and Belarus, effective immediately.

We recognize that these decisions have broad implications for our teams in Russia, as well as for customers and partners in the region. We strongly believe this is the right decision, and we will work with you in the extended region to ensure business continuity.

To help those who are in Ukraine, we are enabling auto-renewals on existing software or services for our Ukrainian customers at no charge. We are also offering them one free year of Webex meetings.

We know that the threat of cyberattacks are top of mind to organizations globally. We are accelerating the work we’ve being doing over the past few weeks to help protect organizations in Ukraine from cyberattacks, safeguard the privacy of institutions in Ukraine and the region, and help the Ukrainian government secure its infrastructure. Security is core to how we help you, or customers and partners, and the work being done by our Talos threat intelligence team to monitor the landscape, hunt malicious actors and deploy defences, while openly sharing its findings, is essential in contributing to the safety of the global Internet.

For 38 years, Cisco has held our core values very deeply – supporting business growth by providing access to technology, building community, ensuring everyone has access to opportunity, and leading with empathy. These values guide us through all that we do, and in all places that we operate in around the world and the business decisions we must make.

These are incredibly challenging times for Ukraine, and frankly, the world. At Cisco, we stand firmly in condemning violence and with those on the side of peace and prosperity. Our deepest hope is that this war will end soon. In the meantime, we are committed to using all the resources we can to help our employees, the institutions and people of Ukraine, and the region during this challenging time, and we will do all within our power to support those who need it.

Thank you for your partnership as we navigate this evolving and complex situation.
